What's new in GX 2024 and the GX logo

GX Cloud

We’ve been working on several ways to make Expectations more customizable and more expressive, and they landed in November!

Custom SQL Expectations added

Bringing even more customizability—especially around cross-column and cross-table testing—is the new custom SQL Expectation option.

Dynamic parameters for Expectations

You can now set your data’s current test thresholds based on the data’s past results.

As you update any count and statistical Expectations that could benefit from dynamic parameters, our docs will answer any questions that you have!

Row conditions for Expectations

Want to apply an Expectation to some rows in your dataset but not others? We’ve added row conditions to make that happen!

It’s easy to get started with conditional Expectations with our docs.
